Today's climate is a call for LGBTQ+ elders to use their voices for intergenerational audiences to know their LGBTQ+ history.
History isn’t a straight line—it’s a circle.
Stories return to us when we need them most, and our elders—our kings, queens, and everything in between—become our compass, especially in times like these.
Today’s stories aren’t just memories.
They’re lessons.
They’re cautionary tales.
They’re warnings and reminders.
And yes—they’re liberations.
They help us understand the world we live in and the world we’re still fighting to build.
This is intergenerational work.
This is preservation.
This is resistance.
And this is joy.
